FROM KATHARINE QUARMBY – DHCN Coordinator.
On behalf of the co-ordinators of the Disability Hate Crime Network, I would like to invite you, if you have experienced a disability hate crime or hate incident and live in the UK, to complete this short survey. We would like to find out a bit more about the motivation of hate crime perpetrators. We think that sometimes people experiencing hate crime may have some idea about why they were targeted and we are trying to capture that information in this short survey (it is limited to just 100 people). It should not take any more than 10 minutes to complete and we will not use any identifying information about you when we publicise the results (here, and perhaps more widely if there is interest). If you have any questions about the survey you can ask non-confidential questions here or send a confidential question to us as network co-ordinators, or through my website contact page: katharinequarmby.wordpress.com. I will also publish a short blog on my website about the survey and post it here as well. Any identifying information will be destroyed as soon as I have analysed it. Please only fill out this survey if you have experienced a disability hate crime or incident, even if you did not report it. Thank you.
The survey link is below and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us:
